I somehow managed to gain an invite to a storybook wedding in the French countryside. I could not wait to see what everyone was
wearing. I just love the effortless French style. Their
wardrobe is probably a quarter of the size of most Americans, but their clothes are well-made, tailored and worn with a purpose.
Well, the French guests certainly didn’t disappoint. I was coveting the fabulous hats, Hermes purses and Chanel suits. But, to my surprise, it was one red-hot
American couple who really stole the show.
Devon and Jenna hail from Washington, DC, a city usually
synonymous with ugly politicians and brutal wardrobes, but these two were certainly not guilty of any of the usual Capitol Hill fashion crimes. Jenna's modern take on the LBD exuded a sort of California cool, while the whimsical details on Devon's impeccably tailored suit would've impressed Joan Rivers.
